Happy Hump Day!

This week is flying by! Shoot, everyday is flying by! It's been 6 weeks since Carver's birth and he's been growing like crazy, off of breastmilk!! He's almost 13lbs. and when he hits that weight mark we're going to start using our medium size g diapers. We purchased our starter kit at a fabulous establishment for mothers and families called the Maternal Wellness Center in Mt. Airy. Carver tried one this morning and it was slightly too big on him, however it did hold up to his super soaker capabilities! Unfortunately our plumbing may not be up to snuff and Kyle forbids me to flush the diapers down our toilets, but at least they will decompose in our compost pile (which I have yet to start).

After stopping by the Maternal Wellness Center, we did a little grocery shopping across the street at the Weavers Way Co-op. We're waiting for our temporary membership card and we will be attending their orientation meeting in June! I can't wait! Everyone was so friendly and helpful there. I love how you have to weigh and price your own produce, which is either locally grown, organic and or free traded! If there is a food coop near your home, I highly recommend you check it out!
